African Bible College

Today African Bible College has nearly 800 graduates serving in a wide spectrum of Christian ministries from program production at TransWorld Radio, orphan care with Children of the Nations, leadership positions at Campus Crusade (Life Ministries), and HIV ministries with World Relief, to planting churches in the former communist stronghold of Mozambique. ABC graduates are proving to be a key component in the evangelization and transformation of Africa.

Roger (B.S. Columbia University, M.M. The Juilliard School, M.A.T.S. Reformed Theological Seminary (Expected 2021), and Abi (B.M. Belhaven University, M.M. University of Memphis) use their gifts as musicians and artists to support church planting in Tokyo, Japan. Roger has won numerous competitions and recorded five albums on the pipe organ. He also frequently writes on faith and the arts for various online and printed publications. Roger and Abi have been serving with Mission to the World since 2003.

Roger and Abi lead Community Arts Tokyo, a team of artists, professionals, and Japanese nationals assisting church planting through outreach, discipleship, worship, and disaster relief. Roger and Abi also lead the MAKE Collective, a global network of missionary artists within Mission to the World.

Roger is the faith and art director and Abi is the worship director at Grace City Church Tokyo. Planted in 2010 in cooperation with Redeemer City to City, it has quickly become one of Japan’s fastest growing churches, leading the Grace Network in a movement of church planting in downtown Tokyo.
